Seal Supply System
To maximize the performance of mechanical seals, it is essential to prevent excessive changes in temperature and pressure of seal fluids and to prevent contamination from slurry. Eagle Industry offers seal supply systems for mechanical seals to maintain seal fluids in appropriate condition and ensure stable sealing performance.
QS300
Three-segmented seal The segmented structure ensures superb followability in the radial direction. The floating structure achieves superb durability, eliminating the need for cooling. Precision machining minimizes leakage to levels comparable to those of contact type segment seals. Compared with conventional segment seals, this seal consists of a smaller number of parts and is therefore robust. The shaft is hardly subject to wear, and does not require hardening treatment. The unit structure allows easy installation and handling. A cartridge structure including a sleeve is also available. Flammable gas and toxic gas can be completely sealed by using two sets of QS300 in a double seal arrangement (QS310) and a buffer gas.

Eagle Industry’s original mechanical seal based on the simple-is-best concept This product helps minimize the installation space, and can be used in no flushing/no quenching structures. All functions of a mechanical seal can be performed well through two main parts, which is packing and seal rings. This seal is easy for handling and less susceptible to trouble due to its simple design. This mechanical seal is an optimum choice for handling high-density slurry, and is widely used in vertical pumps, muddy water pumps, and slurry pumps for sewage, etc.

Superb corrosion resistance makes this seal applicable to any chemical liquids. This product ensures ideal corrosion resistance. PTFE is used for all the rotating parts that come into contact with liquids. Carbon and PTFE containing fillers are used for the sliding materials. Corrosion-resistant metallic materials are used for parts that do not come into direct contact with fluids. This product can handle any chemical liquids including reducing agents, strong acid/alkaline liquids, salts, and concentrated acids.
LB150
A best seal optimum for highly corrosive liquids LB150 is a rotating type outside seal for chemical liquids (e.g. highly corrosive acid and alkaline liquids) that represents Eagle Industry’s outside seal technologies. LB150 can be widely used on various chemical pumps, and ensures superb sealing performance and durability.

Equipped with flushing, quenching, and drainports as standard. The cooling system where the water is directly injected onto the seal faces provides the highest cooling efficiency.
EA560
The EA560 is self-adjusting to shaft misalignments and deflections because of the loosely inserted seal face as well as the ability of the bellows to stretch and tighten. The length of the contact area of the bellows with the shaft is an optimum compromise between ease of assembly (less friction) and sufficient adhesive force for torque transmission. Additionally the seal fulfills very specific leakage requirements. Because the sliding parts are made in-house, a wide variety of special needs can be accommodated.
ED560
The ED560 is a dual seal in a back-to-back arrangement with an EA560 base. Therefore, the seal combines the advantages of the EA560 with the advantages of a dual seal.
Diaphragm Coupling
Simple and high-performance coupling for higher speed/larger capacity This diaphragm coupling originally developed for helicopter drive shafts has been redesigned for general industrial purposes. The diaphragm part employs a special profile processing (characterized by high torsional rigidity, flexible against bending/compression) to achieve high torque transmission. This product has marked a maximum speed of 100,000 rpm and maximum torque of 2,700 kN-m in actual applications, and has gained good reputation in various fields as an ideal coupling (i.e. high speed/high load torque transmission, light weight, and no lubrication). Characterized by the capacity to flexibly absorb misalignments (low bearing load), this diaphragm coupling has been increasingly recognized to be essential for turbines and compressors of ever higher speed/larger capacity, as well as other rotating equipment for commercial power generator, steelmaking machines, equipment for vessels, and aircraft, etc.
