Mechanical seals for pumps Pusher seals Outer seal which can be used for flashing as well as non-flashing applications prevents hazardous emissions in case of inboard seal failure Low heat generation and power consumption due to narrow seal face width of inner seal Longer seal life Good followability due to no influence from run-out, squareness or vibration of the shaft Pressure-balanced design prevents mating ring being forced out under reverse pressure No damage to shaft sleeve as dynamic O-Ring is not in direct contact with the sleeve
LL9DJUU
Mechanical seals for pumps Pusher seals Suitable for higher speeds Good followability due to no influence from run-out, squareness or vibration of the shaft Compact design Low heat generation and power consumption due to narrow seal face width Longer seal life Pressure-balanced design prevents mating ring being forced out under reverse pressure No damage to shaft sleeve as dynamic O-Ring is not in direct contact with the sleev
LL9DSUU
Mechanical seals for pumps Pusher seals Suitable for higher speeds Good followability due to no influence from run-out, squareness or vibration of the shaft Compact design Low heat generation and power consumption due to narrow seal face width Longer seal life Pressure-balanced design prevents mating ring being forced out under reverse pressure No damage to shaft sleeve as dynamic O-Ring is not in direct contact with the sleeve
MD251
Equipped with flushing, quenching, and drainports as standard. PTFE backup ring as standard.
MU Series
Newly developed small seal unit for agitators 1. Compact design Reduces the installation space Mechanical seal arranged close to the bearing , substantially mitigating effects of shaft run-out on sealing performance Structure that enables easy modification from conventional seals 2. Stationary type balanced seal Low-heat generation design by reducing the sliding surface load Low torque by reducing the sliding surface load Stable performance by reducing the influence of heat transfer in the vessel 3. Using the common sliding materials for the rotating ring Cuts the maintenance cost by reducing the number of consumable parts (e.g. sliding material, packing)
LEK777
Mechanical Seals for Pumps Pusher Seals Suitable for higher speeds Good followability due to no influence from run-out, squareness or vibration of the shaft Compact design Low heat generation and power consumption due to narrow seal face width Longer seal life Pressure-balanced design prevents mating ring being forced out under reverse pressure No damage to shaft sleeve as dynamic O-Ring is not in direct contact with the sleeve
MD291
Equipped with flushing, quenching, and drainports as standard. The cooling system where the water is directly injected onto the seal faces provides the highest cooling efficiency.
C Series
“No flushing/no quenching,” “ fully split ” cartridge cut seal This ultra-thin, outside-mounted type seal enables even inexperienced workers to assemble and disassemble. No special skills are required. This high-performance seal is characterized by minimal leaks from the start-up of operation after replacement. No special work is required. No flow relays, valves, or piping is required because the seal does not require flushing/quenching. Featuring an ultra-compact and simple structure, this seal is an optimum choice when reducing the installation space.
MA250/MA251
MA290/MA291
Cartridge Balanced Independent of direction of rotation Stationary multiple springs Springs and pin located on the atmospheric side
MA390/MA391
EK700
Unitized construction allows easy conversion Springs located on the atmospheric side, no clogging High precision rotating assembly reduces “swashing” of seal head
Pulace
Stationary seat and/or seal face replaceable Can be adopted under positive pressure or under back pressure Operation in vacuum without additional seat locking possible
EM300
Dry contact secondary seal Prevention of hazardous emissions Can be used as a secondary seal of tandem seal in liquid applications
Non-contact seals
A type of seal in which there is no contact between the sealing faces. A minute clearance between the sealing face of the rotating ring is maintained by controlling the pressure applied to the faces. Our non-contact seals for all Japanese-built reactor coolant pumps (RCPs) in pressurized water reactor (PWR) nuclear power plant.
