Seal Supply System

To maximize the performance of mechanical seals, it is essential to prevent excessive changes in temperature and pressure of seal fluids and to prevent contamination from slurry.
Eagle Industry offers seal supply systems for mechanical seals to maintain seal fluids in appropriate condition and ensure stable sealing performance.

Feature

① Heat exchanger (water-cooled):

Water-cooled heat exchanger installed in seal supply circuits to cool the seal fluid.

② Heat exchanger (air-cooled):

Air-cooled heat exchanger installed in seal supply circuits to cool the seal fluid. No cooling medium required.

③ Cyclone separator:

Equipment to continuously separate slurry in the seal fluid and keep the seal fluid clean. Also called a grading apparatus or classifier.

④ Thermosiphon system (Reservoir tank):

An enclosed or open tank containing external fluid (liquid) for use between dual seals. Used in combination with internal circulating device (a small impeller mounted to the mechanical seal for self-circulation of the external fluid).

⑤ Closed loop system (Accumulator type pressurizing system):

A system consisting of an accumulator, heat exchanger, and instrumentation. Gas enclosed/accumulated in the accumulator to pressurize external fluid (liquid). Used in combination with internal circulating device.

⑥ Buffer/barrier fluid system:

A system consisting of a pump, open tank, and pressure regulating valve, etc. Used to supply/circulate external fluid (liquid).

⑦⑧ Leakage control (collection/monitoring) system:

A system to collect liquid that leaks from the mechanical seal and detect an abnormal increase in the amount of leakage.

⑨ Gas supply system:

A system consisting of a flow meter, filter, and pressure regulating valve, etc. Used to supply external fluid (gas).

Applicable ranges shown in the product introduction are limit values for each standard material.
Applicable ranges, performance data and figures can serve only as a guide for selection and therefore in actual use there will be some cases where general specifications cannot be applied due to unknown factors or constraints.
Please check the applicability before use.
