- Basic Approach to Human Rights
We, Eagle Industry Co., Ltd. and its group companies, are committed to valuing the life of each employee and respecting their humanity based on our management principle: “Management that respects human dignity based on care and trust.”
We support the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, based on which this policy has been developed. We will also adhere to our Principles of Corporate Behavior, such as “We will comply with laws and regulations of the countries and regions where our business operations are based, respect human rights and other international norms of behavior, and conduct business by taking into consideration the local culture and customs as well as the interests of stakeholders,” and “We will carry out management that respects the human rights of all people.” Through these initiatives, we will promote respect for human rights in all countries and regions where our business operations are based. - Scope of Application
This policy applies to the officers and employees of Eagle Industry Co., Ltd. and its group companies. Also, in order to prevent human rights violations throughout the supply chain, we require suppliers and other stakeholders involved with our business to respect human rights. - Human Rights Due Diligence
We will establish and implement a necessary mechanism for human rights due diligence based on this policy. We will also require suppliers to respect human rights based on the Procurement Policy and the CSR Procurement Guidelines. - Remediation/Correction
We have set up consultation and reporting services on human rights, including issues related to non-compliance. If it is determined that we have caused or contributed to adverse impacts on human rights, we will take appropriate action to remedy and correct such impacts. - Education/Training
In order to ensure that each officer and employee understands this policy correctly and puts it into practice, we will make continuous efforts to raise their awareness while also providing education and training on human rights and harassment. - Priority Action Themes / Information Disclosure
As part of our initiatives to respect human rights based on this policy, we will focus our efforts on the priority action themes outlined separately and report their results through the corporate website and other media.

- Freedom of association and recognition of the right to collective bargaining
We respect the freedom of employees for joining or forming a trade union in accordance with the laws in the countries where our business operations are based. We also approve the exercise of collective bargaining. - Elimination of forced labor
We do not tolerate any forced labor through a lack of consent to work and the menace of any penalty. - Effective abolition of child labor
We do not tolerate any labor performed by a child below the minimum age stipulated in international norms as well as the relevant labor laws and rules in the countries and regions where our business operations are based. - Elimination of discrimination in employment and occupation
We do not tolerate any discrimination based on any grounds such as gender, age, nationality, race, ethnicity, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, marital status, or the presence or absence of children. - Prohibition of harassment
We respect the human rights of each employee.
We do not tolerate any form of harassment, including power harassment or sexual harassment.
